Russia's Drone War Brings Destruction and Death to Kiev "Kiev Hit by Russian Drone Attack: At Least 17 Dead and Several Injured A series of Russian robot and drone attacks has struck several different warehouses across the Kiev region, according to reports from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. At least 17 people have been killed as a result of the attacks, with at least 44 injured. Alarm sirens sounded in Kiev overnight on Wednesday due to the attacks that took place. The attacks damaged several locations, including a train station and a brewery, without any connection to the war. According to Zelensky, the locations were filled with civilian businesses, not military targets. He notes, however, that Russia has distorted facts about the attacks. “Infrastructure and a railway station were hit as well. It's about non-combat activities: a brewery, construction materials warehouses, and civil logistics,” he writes on Telegram. Emergency services have reported that rescue efforts are still ongoing. Kiev's mayor Vitalij Klytchko has been updating information on the attacks throughout the night. The attacks also led to fires, with a house in the Holosiivskyi district reported to be on fire." Rescue Efforts Underway After Fire-Ravaged Boat Carries Hundreds Across Channel Passers-by were saved from a fire-ravaged rubber boat in the English Channel A large number of migrants were rescued on Tuesday after a boat travelling through the English Channel caught fire. According to sources, 157 people were saved from the wreckage, although it is unclear how many may have been injured or killed during the incident. The boat was en route from France to Britain when it started burning in the English Channel. French and British coastguard forces launched a larger rescue operation, with assistance from several coastguard vessels that carried the rescued individuals to the port of Boulogne-sur-Mers. Reports from British media suggest that those on board the boat were primarily migrants.
