Finland Introduces Strict Aviation Rules Amid Drone Alarms The Finnish government has limited its airspace following drone alarms. A new rule allows only aircraft and helicopters to fly under 5,900 feet (1,800 meters) above the ground. With this new rule, the first plane that flies in this zone will be a fighter jet escort plane. This is one of the many changes made by the Finnish government after the drone alarms in eastern Finland. Another new rule proposes that all aircraft must be shot down 100 meters away from red airspace zones. This change has been implemented to reduce the risk of collisions with drones.
