Royal Counsel Delayed Case, Prince Sentenced Former Prince Was Not Helped by Testifying in Court After a lengthy process, Prince Daniel of Denmark received his sentence: two weeks unpaid leave. He was sentenced for handing over the case to the police without being a witness; however, it was related to a "long-term witness incident," which was another matter. The prince had arrived at the Gentofte Police Station in December 2018 to give testimony. In connection with his divorce from Crown Princess Mary of Australia, he had turned the case over to the police because he knew something that could provide clear protection for an individual. However, after several years, Prince Daniel was sentenced for the crimes "fraudulent testimony" and "transmission of confidential information." US President’s Diplomacy Sparks Debate in Europe US President Donald Trump's speeches on peace have been met with strong criticism in Europe, according to Sweden's ambassador to the US Sander Olofsson to SVT Live. "It was a well-known and frustrating speech," he said. This is the first time a US president has wanted to meet North Korea, but Trump's message that he wants a nuclear-free North Korea looked like a sharp criticism from Sweden's side. Olofsson wants to speak to SVT Live. There was no prior announcement about this meeting, neither on lower levels in the US. "When Trump decided to meet North Korea, we were shocked anyway," Olofsson says to SVT Live. It's a shocking idea since peace in the region is such an eagerly awaited theme. See article on SVT News.
