The conservative party leaders advocate for a more active role for the state house and want a more active collaboration with the government. Sweden’s Loss Forged a Path to Healing A Swedish couple who were stuck in Thailand after the wife's brother died of cancer due to lack of health insurance has now received compensation for their treatment abroad. The couple, who wishes to remain anonymous, was left with a massive medical bill after being treated for their son's terminal illness in Thailand. The hospital where they received care claimed they owed a debt of 1.7 million kronor, which the couple could not afford to pay. After an investigation by Swedish authorities and a campaign by the couple themselves, they have now received compensation of 3.2 million kronor from the Swedish government. See article on SVT News.
