Zelenskyy's deal to Trump: arms purchases with Russian money. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has proposed to Trump to buy around 330 billion euros worth of U.S. weapons in Russian frozen assets, he says in a podcast with American Lex Fridman. "It will be very good for your industry. For the United States. We will put money there. Russian money. Not Ukrainian. Not European. Russian money. Russian assets. They have to pay for this," the president said, according to the Kiev Independent.
