Hamas: 20 people killed after the looting. A transport consisting of 109 trucks with food was violently looted on Saturday in southern Gaza. Staff were threatened with weapons, according to the UN agency UNRWA. It is unknown who was behind the incident.

The Interior Ministry in Gaza, which is controlled by the terror-labeled Hamas, later stated that 20 people were killed after the looting, TT reports. "More than 20 members of gangs involved in stealing trucks have been killed in a security operation," the statement reads.

UNRWA Director Philippe Lazzarini says that this shows how serious the situation is in the area, and that a few months ago they were able to escort transports safely. See the article on SVT Nyheter.
