Only ruins left of Chasiv Jar. The Russians are on the eastern side of the canal that runs through the town, but have not been able to push deeper into the city since July when Ukrainian forces withdrew across the watercourse.
Chasiv Yar is described as completely destroyed by the fighting. "It's just ruins. The enemy does not see these territories as their own, they are destroying everything in their path," says a Ukrainian military spokesperson. Watch the feature on SVT News.
