Zelenskyy: North Korea's losses now 3,000 men. Preliminary figures indicate that 3,000 North Korean soldiers have been killed and wounded in the Kursk region, President Zelenskyy said on Telegram. At the end of last week, South Korea said that North Korea had lost about 1,100 soldiers.
Zelenskyy, like South Korea, warns that additional North Korean soldiers could be sent to fight for Russia. Up to 12,000 soldiers from North Korea are said to have initially been sent to the Kursk region, according to Ukraine. There have previously been reports that more people may be involved. Acute power outages in Ukraine. Ukraine's state energy company has decided to introduce emergency power outages in a number of regions due to high consumption, reports Ukrainska Pravda. Residents are asked to save electricity, for example by not using the lift. Street lights in several cities will be turned off at the same time.
