Zelenskyy: "Three years of heroism" Three years have passed since Russia launched a full-scale attack on its neighbor Ukraine on February 24, 2022. Zelenskyy pays tribute to his country on his third anniversary.
"Three years of resistance. Three years of gratitude. Three years of total heroism from the Ukrainians. I'm proud of Ukraine!", he writes on X.
Tens of thousands of soldiers on both sides, and Ukrainian civilians, have been killed during the war. Towns and villages have been left in ruins and millions of people have been forced to flee.
