Looks like Washington is aware that the stock markets open on Monday morning.
Iran: Attacks oil tankers and US ships. Iran says it has attacked three oil tankers in the Strait of Hormuz as well as three US ships elsewhere. According to Iran's Revolutionary Guard (IRGC), the oil tankers were traveling on unauthorized routes. At the same time, the IRGC is warning all ships in the Persian Gulf and near the Strait of Hormuz about 'suspicious activities'.
The announcement comes after the US earlier on Saturday reported that American forces struck three Iranian oil tankers, including one off Kharg Island. See the article on SVT News.
Ceasefire until Monday. Both Ukraine and Russia have agreed not to attack Moscow and Kiev, respectively, until Monday, in connection with visits from the American envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner.
As recently as last night, Russia attacked Kiev's airport, according to Ukraine's president Volodymyr Zelensky. Zelensky writes on Telegram that the ceasefire applies to the cities that are 'involved in the negotiation process.' This seems to mean that it only covers Moscow and Kiev.
