Charged with suspicion of 59 crimes after the Sydney attack. The suspected shooter in the mass shooting at Bondi Beach has awakened from his coma. On Wednesday, he was formally charged with a total of 59 crimes, including terrorism and 15 counts of murder, Australian police announced.
15 people were killed and about 40 were injured in the terrorist attack that targeted a Hanukkah celebration early Sunday evening. 23 people are still receiving hospital care.
