Fire at energy facility in Qatar – now under control. The industrial area Ras Laffan in Qatar caught fire following an Iranian attack. The area is a main facility for Qatar's production of liquefied natural gas. "The State of Qatar condemns and strongly distances itself from Iran's audacious attack on the industrial city of Ras Laffan," writes Qatar's Foreign Department on X.

Iran warns neighboring countries after attack on gas field. The Iranian Revolutionary Guard has issued evacuation warnings for several energy facilities in the Persian Gulf, reports AP.
The warnings come after reports in Iranian media that parts of Iran's oil and natural gas facilities were attacked on Wednesday by the USA and Israel.
Qatar, which shares the South Pars gas field with Iran, calls the attack "dangerous and irresponsible."

EU citizens have been executed in Iran. The EU's foreign affairs chief Kaja Kallas now condemns the Iranian regime's execution in a statement. In Kallas' statement, the execution is described as a "brutal act of senseless violence."
The human rights organization HRANA writes that the man was arrested during the 12-day war, referring to information published by the Iranian judiciary's news agency Mizan. He was ultimately sentenced to death for spying on behalf of Israel. See the segment on SVT News.
