Cole Tomas Allen is suspected after a shooting at a gala dinner with Donald Trump. Armed with a shotgun, pistol, and several knives, he is said to have tried to enter the event hall at the hotel where the gala dinner was held. 31-year-old Cole Tomas Allen is, according to American media and news agencies, the suspected perpetrator after the shooting at the annual correspondents' dinner in Washington DC.
The FBI's counter-terrorism unit is leading the investigation of the incident. Police have also carried out a raid on Allen's residence in California.
