South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol is not facing impeachment after several MPs belonging to his party left the National Assembly before Saturday's vote on impeachment. "I introduced martial law out of my desperation as president, because I am ultimately responsible for the affairs of the country," he said during his address to the nation.
