Two dead after the Munich car attack. Two people have died of their injuries after the attack in central Munich on Thursday when a car drove into a crowd, German police said. The dead are a mother and her 2-year-old daughter.
The 24-year-old suspect, who drove into a union demonstration from behind, had minor injuries at the time of his arrest. He is described as an asylum seeker from Afghanistan. Fatal knife attack in southern Austria. A teenager has died and five people have been injured in a knife attack in Austria, local media reports. According to the police, the perpetrator randomly stabbed people passing by.
