It looks like the number of injured and killed civilians in Ukraine may be on the decline.
UN: Russian drones are harming an increasing number of civilians. A report from the UN office OHCHR has compiled the number of civilians in Ukraine who have been injured and killed by Russian drones. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion in 2022, the number injured and killed in the attacks has increased significantly.In April 2025, a peak was reached – 283 civilians were injured and 42 were killed by the drones. Russia may cut military spending. Russia may reduce the country's military expenditures in the future, President Vladimir Putin said at a press conference in Minsk on Friday, according to Reuters. Putin stated that the significant increase in military spending since Russia's full-scale attack on Ukraine in 2022 has driven inflation in the country.
