It kind of looks like Russia is attacking with Iranian-designed drones that are made by North Koreans and funded with Chinese oil imports.

Heavy attacks on Kyiv during the night. Several neighborhoods in Kyiv have been attacked for hours with ballistic missiles and drones during the night to Friday. Attacks have also been directed at Odessa and Kharkiv.
According to Kyiv Mayor Vitaly Klitchko, residential buildings have been attacked and burned. Videos show that large explosions and debris have landed on houses, schools and administrative buildings. "It has been a very difficult night here in Kyiv. It started around midnight and then I went down to the bomb shelter with the photographer, then the explosions went on for a very long time. It was very powerful ballistic missiles that were used. Russia also sent in a large number of drones that we heard explode," says SVT's Ukraine correspondent Elin Jönsson.
