That is why Germany is expanding border controls. As of today, Germany is expanding its border controls to all neighboring countries. The reason, according to the country's interior minister, is to reduce uncontrolled immigration and protect the country against extremist threats.

Israel is reportedly recruiting asylum seekers for the war. Asylum seekers from Africa are offered permanent residence permits in exchange for participating in the fighting in Gaza. This is according to sources within the Israeli Defense Forces to Haaretz.
The procedure is said to be organized and done with the help of legal advisors. So far, no asylum seekers who contributed to Israel's war have been granted permanent residence permits, according to Haaretz. The responsible defense body states to the newspaper that all actions are done "in a legal manner."
