One million without electricity in Kyiv after last night's attack. Last night's intense Russian attacks on the Ukrainian capital have so far resulted in two deaths and around 40 injuries. In addition, one million households are without electricity, according to the Ukrainian power company DTEK.
More than 40 percent of Kyiv's residential buildings also lack heating as a result of the attack, which CNN reports to be one of the longest-lasting attacks on Ukraine this year. It is said to have lasted for over ten hours.
