Peace meeting between the USA and Ukraine. On Sunday, delegations from the USA and Ukraine will meet in Florida to continue working on a peace agreement.
Ahead of the meeting, the U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who is participating in the negotiations, said he hoped today's talks would bring them closer to an agreement to end the war. Rubio after the meeting: "Very productive" U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio says that the talks with the Ukrainian delegation on Sunday have been very productive.
At the same time, Rubio says that there is more work to be done to achieve a peace agreement between Kyiv and Moscow, Reuters reports. "There are many parts to this, and of course there is another party involved here that must be included in the equation, and that will continue later in the week when (Steve) Witkoff travels to Moscow," Rubio told reporters after the roughly four-hour-long meeting concluded.
