Nordic associations: Demand that the FIFA chief resigns. The six Nordic associations announced today that they have lost confidence in FIFA president Gianni Infantino. The associations are demanding Infantino's resignation, as well as an independent investigation into his proposal to sell some events, like the World Cup, to private investors. EU parliamentarians are being denied entry to Israel. According to the Jerusalem Post, the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs believes, among other things, that they 'in recent years have consistently acted against Israel, including by calling for international legal proceedings against Israelis to be pursued.'
The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs also claims that they have at various times 'made false accusations against Israel, including allegations of genocide, deliberate starvation, and that children and medical staff are being deliberately attacked.' See the article on SVT News.
