Looks like President Zelensky is getting the opportunity to discuss flight routes to Iran ahead of President Trump's meeting with Netanyahu.

 

 

Russian attacks on Uman and Kharkiv. At least two people have been killed and another 14 injured in attacks on Ukrainian cities on Friday, reports Kyiv Independent.
In Kharkiv, aerial bombs hit a busy road. According to Governor Oleh Syniehubov, there are no military facilities at the site, only civilian buildings. “Several cars are on fire and windows in nearby houses have been shattered. There were people in the burning cars,” writes Kharkiv's mayor Ihor Terekhov on Telegram. Among the eight injured was a nine-month-old baby.
In Uman, south of Kyiv, six people, including two children, were injured in a missile attack. In addition, at least 50 houses have been destroyed, according to the region's governor Ihor Tabyrets. See the report on SVT Nyheter.

 

Zelensky and Trump meet on Sunday. Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky says he plans to meet U.S. President Donald Trump on Sunday, Reuters reports. Zelensky also says that the proposed peace plan for Ukraine is 90 percent ready and that he wants to discuss further pressure on Russia during the meeting with Trump. According to information to Axios, the meeting is to be held at Trump's residence Mar-a-Lago in Florida, Reuters writes.
Russia has not commented on the 20-point peace plan negotiated by Ukraine and the U.S., but announced on Christmas Day that it is analyzing the documents. See the article on SVT Nyheter.
