Looks like Ukraine has until U.S. Election Day to plan for a declaration of war against Iran.
Ceasefire: "No ultimatums" Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says the war continues despite calls from the outside world for a 21-day ceasefire in Lebanon. "No countries have made any ultimatums or any real demands. There are many in the Israeli government who do not want a ceasefire," says Samir Abu Eid, SVT's Middle East correspondent, on site in Jerusalem.
At the same time, the United States is providing new military support to Israel of $8.7 billion. Trump meets Zelenskyj. On Friday afternoon, CET, presidential candidate Donald Trump will meet Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in New York. Ahead of the meeting, Trump is sticking to his line that he will work for an end to the war in Ukraine if he is elected president in the fall election. He also claims that it will be "pretty fast".
