Norway's former prime minister is being investigated for serious corruption. Norway's former prime minister and leader of the Labour Party, Thorbjørn Jagland, is suspected of serious corruption following revelations in the Epstein files, reports NRK. The Norwegian authority for economic crimes has launched an investigation. They want to see whether Jagland received benefits in the form of gifts, trips, and loans while he was chairman of the Nobel Committee and Secretary General of the Council of Europe.
The authority has also sent a request to the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to ask the Council of Europe to lift his immunity, which he has as a former Secretary General.

Pressured Starmer apologizes. The British Prime Minister Keir Starmer apologizes regarding Peter Mandelson's, former US ambassador, relationship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Starmer is under pressure, according to several analysts, partly for appointing Mandelson despite knowing that the politician had contact with Epstein after the 2008 conviction. – I apologize for believing Mandelson’s lies and for appointing him, Starmer says, addressing Epstein’s victims.
Mandelson is under investigation for misconduct – in the Epstein files, he is seen sharing sensitive information.
