Former French minister investigated for money laundering. Prosecutors in France have launched a preliminary investigation into economic crime against former minister Jack Lang following revelations in the Epstein documents, AFP reports.
Together with his daughter Caroline Lang, the former culture and education minister is being investigated for money laundering of proceeds from serious tax fraud linked to the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
The 86-year-old has been influential in French politics and has held ministerial positions several times during the 1980s and 1990s, as well as in the early 2000s, for the country's Social Democratic Party. See the article on SVT Nyheter.
