Virus-stricken ship arrives at Tenerife – passengers being evacuated. 151 people from 20 countries – the passengers on the cruise ship MV Hondius will be taken ashore in Tenerife today. But some of the crew will remain on the ship, as will the body of one of the deceased.
It has been just under a month since the first death on the cruise ship MV Hondius – on April 10. Today, Sunday, the passengers on the ship are being brought ashore from the port of Granadilla in southeastern Tenerife.
