Bolsonaro is formally accused of the 2022 coup attempt in Brazil. Brazilian police formally accuse ex-president Jair Bolsonaro of involvement in the 2022 coup d'état and of having knowledge of assassination plans against the new president, Reuters reports. The case is now being handed over to Brazil's Supreme Court and prosecutor general, who will either put Bolsonaro on trial or drop the investigation.
