Dangerous year for journalists – record number killed. A record number of journalists were killed in 2024 – according to a new report from Reporters Without Borders. A total of 54 journalists were killed during the year, the report shows – the highest number measured in half a decade. "The number of journalists who have been imprisoned and killed has increased since last year," says Erik Larsson, chairman of Reporters Without Borders Sweden. Watch the feature on SVT News.
