Gaza: Reporters killed. At least 20 people were killed, five of them reporters, in Israeli attacks on Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis on Monday. This is reported by the Hamas-controlled health authorities according to TT.The attacks targeted the upper floors, where several journalists were working in a stairwell outside the facade. Television footage shows how the first attack is followed by a second, as rescuers arrived at the scene.Nasser Hospital is the only one still partially operational in the southern Gaza Strip.The deceased journalists worked for, among others, Reuters, AP, NBC, and al-Jazeera. Approximately 200 journalists have been killed since the outbreak of war in 2023.Israeli military sources indicate that it was a tank that fired on Nasser Hospital - after believing that a camera at the hospital was being used to track the troop movements. The newspaper Haaretz reports this according to The Times of Israel. However, since there are many cameras in the area, it is unclear why this particular one was targeted, the sources say.
