67 journalists killed in 2025 – new report from Reporters Without Borders. Over the past year, 67 journalists have been killed because of their work, according to Reporters Without Borders’ new report. Almost half were killed by the Israeli army. This is the third consecutive year that RSF reports an increase in the number of journalists killed in the line of duty. Half of all journalists killed were in the Middle East, and 43 percent were killed in Gaza by Israeli forces. Watch the segment on SVT News.

 

 

Hamas: Cannot move forward with phase two. A spokesperson for Hamas says that the second phase cannot be carried out because Israel is violating its commitments. – The second phase cannot begin as long as the occupation (Israel) continues to break the agreement and avoids its obligations, says Hossam Badran, a member of the terror-designated movement's political bureau, to AFP.
