Usually it goes pretty fast for those in power in the United States to get opposition demonstrations started in countries where they want to influence the course of events, but there seems to be no interest in this case.

 

 

Netanyahu rejects reports of a ceasefire. He ordered the Israeli military (IDF) to continue fighting Hezbollah in Lebanon with "full force", writes Reuters. Netanyahu also said in a statement that the fighting in Gaza will continue until "all objectives are met."

Israel's Foreign Minister Israel Katz also rejects the reports of a ceasefire. "There will be no ceasefire in the north. We will continue to fight, with all our strength until we are victorious and until the inhabitants of the north can return to their homes in safety," Katz writes on X. Israel spreads pictures of killed Hezbollah commanders. The Israeli military is spreading a picture online showing that a large part of Hezbollah's commanders have been killed. "For Israel, it is a feather in the cap at home to be able to show that it successfully kills commanders of organizations it sees as terrorist groups and as its enemies," says SVT's foreign reporter Carl Fridh Kleberg.
