Will Amazon start up a 'gain of function' lab in China?

 

 

USA and China are lowering tariffs. The USA and China will lower the trade tariffs that the countries have imposed on each other for 90 days according to a joint statement. Green numbers on the stock markets after the announcement of reduced tariffs. The three-month long pause in the tariff war between the US and China, with relatively low tariffs in the meantime, is causing the markets to bounce upwards. They are bolstered by hopes for a deal that won’t be as damaging to the economy. At first glance, it may seem like the US won the first round, with tariffs of as much as 30 percent against China, which is settling for 10 percent against the US over the next 90 days. But the US's 30 is actually 10 percent plus 20 percent in 'fentanyl tariffs' – which can be removed if China succeeds in slowing down the export of the dangerous drug to the US.
