Which Western feminist will be the first to become conspiratorial over the fact that the old men are starting to seem to get AI in order just when they have succeeded in producing a female leader?

Italy: Sharp reduction in migrants. In Italy, the number of migrants has fallen sharply this year, and for the Meloni government, this is a major political victory. This year, they have decreased by over 60%. "For a period of time, we received five or six migrant boats a day. But now there are much fewer. This is a large reduction," says Mimma Antonaci, head of the Red Cross Lecce.

"The number of migrants has decreased by 63% in Italy. These are significant figures. I hope that it will become the practice in other countries as well, not just in Europe, so that they can have us as a model," says Mena D'Antini, government adviser at Forza Italia. Watch the feature on SVT's Rapport.

John Hopfield and Geoffrey Hinton receive this year's Nobel Prize in Physics 2024. They are awarded for their discoveries and inventions in machine learning and artificial neural networks. "This year's prize is about machines that learn," says Hans Ellegren, Permanent Secretary of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences. "I think AI will have a huge influence. It will be comparable to the industrial revolution," Geoffrey Hinton said on the phone during the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences' press conference.

Geoffrey Hinton is often referred to as the godfather of AI because of his groundbreaking discoveries about AI. He has long held a high position at the company Google but left last year. He has become known for his criticism of AI. "We have no experience of what it's like to have things that are smarter than us," Geoffrey Hinton said on the phone during the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences' press conference.
