Will the American public service channels start applying for funding grants from the UN?

 

 

Judge stops Trump's withdrawn media support. A federal judge stops Donald Trump's decision to cut funding to public service channels in the USA. Last year, the American president, with the support of Congress, withdrew the federal grants to the country's public service channels – which Trump had long called left-leaning. UN vote on slavery. The transatlantic slave trade is "the most serious crime against humanity," the UN decided in a vote on March 25.

A majority of 123 countries voted in favor of the resolution. Several of them were African states such as Nigeria, Ivory Coast, and Somalia. Countries like Russia also voted in favor. But three voted against: Israel, Argentina, and the USA. See the segment on SVT News.
