Mueller led the so-called Russia investigation that examined whether Russia had influenced the 2016 U.S. presidential election. According to MSNOW, Robert Mueller died on Friday. He was 81 years old. He had been ill with Parkinson's disease for several years. Robert Mueller was the head of the FBI between 2001 and 2013. In May 2017, he was tasked with investigating Russia's influence on the 2016 election campaign and whether President Donald Trump's campaign had acted in collusion with Moscow.
