The United States is preparing a large migrant detention facility in Guantanamo. Trump has promised to deport millions of people who have entered the United States illegally. One challenge to fulfilling that promise has been the question of where to house arrested but not yet deported migrants.
Trump states that the Guantanamo facility will be used for the "worst criminal illegal immigrants". "This will immediately double our capacity.
