Security around the White House is being strengthened. With figures indicating a close election result, security in Washington D.C. has been strengthened, Reuters reports. Outside the White House and the Vice President's residence, in addition to the existing barricades and fences, additional fences have been erected to create a larger enclosed perimeter. According to Axios, the new fences measure 2.5 meters high.
