Greenlanders are demonstrating in the streets against Donald Trump. Greenlanders are protesting against the Trump administration's proposal to take over the island. In images from the Reuters news agency's live broadcast from Nuuk, demonstrators can be seen marching down the streets with the banner 'Stop Trump.'

von der Leyen: EU remains united. If the US raises its tariffs against several EU countries, it would undermine the transatlantic relationship and risk a dangerous downward spiral, writes EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen on X.
She emphasizes that the EU stands in full solidarity with the people of Denmark and Greenland. And she states that the military exercise organized by Denmark in Greenland 'does not pose a threat to anyone.'
It is the countries that sent troops to the exercise that are being hit with tariffs, including Sweden, and are now accused by the US president of escalating the situation in Greenland – which, according to Trump, forces the US to buy the island. See the report on SVT Nyheter.
