Hegseth: "The fight has only begun" During a press conference, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth says that "the fight has only begun" from the US side in the war against Iran. He adds that Tehran is mistaken if the country believes that Washington cannot sustain the war.
The head of the US Central Command in the Middle East, Brad Cooper, states at the same time that the US has sunk over 30 Iranian ships, and that Iranian missile attacks have decreased by 90 percent since the beginning of the war. The House of Representatives votes down a proposal about the war. The United States Congress' House of Representatives has voted down a proposal to limit Donald Trump's ability to continue waging war against Iran. The proposal was defeated 212–219 in the Republican-led chamber.
