Today, the trial began against two men in Germany who are suspected of planning a terrorist act. The men are Afghan citizens, 23 and 30 years old, and have been living in Germany since 2015 and 2016. The 30-year-old told the audience that he used to live in the Netherlands, but was denied asylum and deported. In September this year, his German residence permit also expired.
