Tariffs against China come into effect. Donald Trump's threat of import tariffs of the size of 104 percent against goods from China will become reality from Wednesday, the White House confirms.
Last week, Trump announced that the U.S. will add 34 percent on top of the 20 percent import tariffs. This prompted Beijing to respond with the same 34 per cent.
