Charlie Kirk's suspected murderer is being charged. District Attorney Jeff Gray in Utah is seeking the death penalty for Tyler Robinson, who is suspected of murdering the conservative activist Charlie Kirk. "The murder of Charlie Kirk is an American tragedy," said Jeff Gray at a press conference on Tuesday evening.
According to the indictment documents, Robinson allegedly confessed to his roommate via text message that he killed Kirk and that he planned the act for over a week. Documents also show that the suspected murderer left a note under the keyboard stating that he planned to kill Charlie Kirk. Tyler Robinson's roommate handed over the text conversation to the police.
Robinson's mother also contacted the police investigators after she thought the wanted images resembled her son, according to the indictment documents. See the segment on SVT Nyheter.
