Sources: Israel will not strike Iran's oil. The Israeli counterattack following Iran's missile strikes is unlikely to target oil production or the Iranian nuclear program, according to two sources with knowledge of the matter.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is said to have delivered the message when he spoke with US President Joe Biden last week. Netanyahu is said to have instead said that he is planning to strike at military targets.

USA: Anti-aircraft systems soon to be operational in Israel. Parts of the advanced air defense system Thaad have arrived in Israel, writes Pentagon spokesperson Pat Ryder in a press release. The U.S. is also sending U.S. military personnel to Israel to help operate the air defense system, which according to the Pentagon will protect Israel from ballistic missile attacks from Iran. The system is supposed to be operational "in the near future", but the Pentagon does not provide more precise information than that due to security reasons.
