After a few intense days, Greta Thunberg is back in the EU after trying to get to Gaza on a boat. Greta Thunberg and the other eleven activists were traveling on the sailboat Madleen towards Gaza when their ship was boarded by Israel in international waters on Monday night. A day later, they had been transported to Ben Gurion Airport outside Tel Aviv where they were interrogated.
Several of Thunberg's fellow travelers have been noted for their statements in the media. Among them is human rights activist Thiago Ávila, who earlier this year attended the funeral of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah.
When TT asked how it felt to be at home, Thunberg replied: "What I feel most is concern about the continued development, the violations of international law and the war crimes that Israel is guilty of.
She was also asked if she was afraid when the boat was boarded by the Israeli military. "What I'm afraid of is that people are silent during an ongoing genocide," Thunberg replied. Watch the feature on SVT News.
