Ministers of Migration agree: Yes to asylum centers outside the EU. The EU is opening up for asylum processing in centers outside the union. Good news, says EU Commissioner for Home Affairs Magnus Brunner. The agreement allows for several reception centers outside the EU, similar to what Italy already has with Albania, and what Denmark and other countries have considered. – This is a turning point in the EU’s migration policy, says Brunner at a press conference in Brussels.
